Redbreast, 21-Year-Old, Single Pot Still Whiskey, Ireland (46%)

A range of aromas including fresh tropical fruits, nuts and rich dried fruit on the nose lead to a creamy mouthfeel complete with notes of luscious fleshy fruit, soft vanilla, toasted oak and sherry nuttiness. The experience finishes with a long lingering finish complete with a pot still spiciness. 

Redbreast 21 year old is the finest representation of the signature Redbreast sherry style - it is the oldest and richest expression of the Redbreast style ever produced; and the 21 year ageing process introduces new levels of depth, flavour and taste to create an inherently complex and ultimately, rewarding whiskey. It is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper Pot Stills, and, finally, matured in a combination of American bourbon barrels and first fill Spanish oloroso sherry casks. Abundantly aromatic and fruitful, and produced in very limited quantities.
