Description
The Nc’nean team continue to raise the bar with each release; the Orchard Cobbler is no exception. This whisky evokes nostalgic memories of my childhood spent at my grandparents’ farm in late autumn, when the sweet aroma of stewed Bramley apples drifted through the windows into the yard at dusk. True to its name, this whisky reveals delightful layers of cherry curd and thin-cut marmalade, complemented by vanilla custard and freshly baked pastries.
It’s the perfect winter warmer. As with all Nc’nean whiskies, I recommend enjoying this as a “Whisky Six”: two parts whisky and four parts soda, served over ice with a sprig of fresh mint.
