Cocchi, Vermouth di Torino, Italy (16%)

This is a real favourite originating from a 100-year-old family recipe. It has a delightful purity of red orange fruit, combined with a fresh, rich texture. Its herbal depth coats the mouth for a superb finish. With Moscato wine as its base, this is complex enough to be fabulous on its own over ice. That said, it is excellent in an Americano, marvellous in a Manhattan, and unforgettable in a Negroni.
