Description

Penny Blue Pure Cane is distilled from freshly pressed sugarcane juice grown on the Medine Estate in Mauritius, where the dry climate and low rainfall provide ideal conditions to nurture sugarcane to perfection. A portion of hand-milled, single-variety sugarcane is pot-distilled and blended with elegant column-distilled rum, delivering a lighter character than French-style Agricole, with added weight and complexity. Penny Blue Pure Cane is fresh and inviting, perfect in classic rum cocktails. Hints of almond complement its citrus, floral, and ripe fruit aromas. The palate is round, smooth, and beautifully balanced with fruity sugarcane notes.
