Learn more about Château Lagrange
For many years, Château Lagrange struggled to meet the expectations of its classification. That changed in 1983, when the Japanese Suntory Group acquired the property and launched a transformative investment and renovation programme.
Both the vineyards and winery were overhauled. The estate now boasts one of the most advanced cuviers in Bordeaux, with 56 temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats tailored to vinify individual parcels. The vast, meticulously maintained barrique chais houses wines under ideal ageing conditions.
Today, Château Lagrange is a model of modern Bordeaux excellence—combining technological innovation with respect for tradition. The wines are precise, polished, and classically St Julien in style: structured, balanced, and built to age.
