Château Lascombes

Heritage and modern vision

The estate’s history is as rich as its wines. From the stewardship of Alexis Lichine in the mid-20th century to its transformation under Colony Capital in 2001, Lascombes has continually evolved. Significant investment has brought cutting-edge facilities, including a state-of-the-art stainless-steel cuvier, ensuring precision and quality at every stage of winemaking.

The styles of Lascombes

The blend typically comprises 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, aged for 18 months in oak barriques (60% new). The result is a wine of elegance and depth: supple blackcurrant fruit, creamy texture, and a structure that rewards cellaring. With time, these clarets reveal layers of complexity, making them a benchmark for Margaux.
