No.3 London Dry Gin

More than a decade ago, Berry Bros. & Rudd set out to create a gin that would stand as the benchmark for quality—a spirit that was, quite simply, “gin as it should be.” The result was No.3 London Dry Gin: a crisp, perfectly balanced expression of juniper, citrus and spice. Since its launch, No.3 has earned global acclaim, including four titles as World’s Best Gin, a testament to its uncompromising standards and timeless character.

A heritage of perfection

Founded in 1698, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s oldest wine and spirits merchant, a family business that has served discerning customers for over three centuries. From its historic home at No.3 St James’s Street, London, the company has always championed quality and authenticity. When creating No.3 Gin, this ethos guided every decision. Working alongside Dr David Clutton—the only person to hold a PhD in gin—and leading mixologists, Berry Bros. & Rudd spent two years refining the recipe. The goal was clear: a classic London Dry Gin that elevates the simplest serve and shines in a Martini.

Craftsmanship in every drop

The character of No.3 lies in its meticulous production. Distilled in Holland—the birthplace of gin—at a family-owned distillery with over 300 years of expertise, the spirit is crafted in a 100-year-old, brick-encased copper pot still. Six botanicals define its profile: juniper at the core, supported by coriander seed, angelica root, cardamom, grapefruit peel and sweet orange peel. This traditional approach ensures purity and depth, delivering a gin that is bright, refreshing and perfectly poised for classic cocktails.
