Learn more about Champagne Marguet

The Marguet family has been making Champagne in Ambonnay since 1870, at the heart of the Pinot Noir Grand Cru territory. Today, fifth-generation winemaker Benoît Marguet-Bonnerave leads the estate with a bold, philosophical approach that has redefined its identity.

In 2009, Benoît fully converted the vineyards to biodynamic viticulture, guided by the natural rhythms of the cosmos, lunar cycles, and the earth itself. His farming methods are deeply intuitive—some unconventional—and his commitment to energy and vitality in the vineyard is second to none.

His reputation among Champagne growers is legendary. Even Krug has enlisted his expertise to farm their Ambonnay Pinot Noir, a testament to the depth of his knowledge and instinct in the vineyard.
