Discover the sense of place

Nestled in the rolling chalk downland of Hampshire, Hambledon Vineyard epitomises the perfect balance of history and innovation. Founded in 1952 by Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones, it is England’s oldest commercial vineyard and the birthplace of English wine. It takes its name from the nearby village of Hambledon, widely renowned as the cradle of cricket. You can view the complete collection here.

The vineyards sit on Newhaven chalk – the same found in Champagne’s Côte des Blancs – the perfect terroir for sparkling wines. Hambledon's wines are a masterclass in elegance and finesse mixed with the winemaking talents and French influence of Hervé Jestin and Felix Gabillet.
