This comes from Les Guillandes in Corgoloin (their second plot in La Montagne has been grubbed up for replanting). Almost half of the fruit was vinified as whole bunches, giving some rose petal and violet notes to the spicy, griotte cherry fruit. There is some limestone structure typical of this part of the Côte, and it serves to prolong the finish.

From the Corgoloin vineyards La Montagne 0.20ha just replanted) and Les Gillandes 0.30ha). One third whole bunch. An attractive mid-crimson. There is a solid concentrated core of alpine strawberry here, a little spiciness behind, no unwanted tannins, and good length. Attractive medium plus body, quite accessible.
