Description
En Brescul is situated high on the slope and faces southeast. The soils here are shallow, with plenty of limestone. There is incredible freshness on the nose and finish with aromas of wild strawberry and red cherries. The palate is vibrant, crunchy and medium bodied. The tannins provide grip and will soften with time. This is a marvellous Pommard.

On the Beaune side of Pommard. 0.72 ha 1.8 acres). Old vines planted in the 1970s and 1980s.
Mid ruby. A nose of fresh red fruits, raspberry, strawberry and cherry. Lovely balanced, juicy acidity. Substantial volume without being heavy, medium-plus body. It is persuasively potent, with lots of structure and a volume that builds towards the long, spicy finish.

A bright fresh crimson. A darker fruit on the nose though still clearly very fresh. A mix of ripeness on the palate which makes for quite a complex wine. In the end it is the fresh red fruit which wins through.
