Description
Olivier has nearly one hectare planted in Les Cras with Pinot Fin propagated from cuttings from Clos des Epeneaux. The 2022 vintage has given this wine an extra layer of ripeness, and the fruit is expressive from the millefeuille technique of layering whole bunches and destemmed fruit in the fermentation vat. A delicious, crunchy and appetising Pinot Noir.

Critics reviews
An expressive and very pinot nose offers up ripe and earthy aromas that largely derive from the red side of the fruit spectrum. The utterly delicious and attractively vibrant flavours possess better-than-average depth and persistence on the ever-so-mildly rustic finale. This is a solid Bourgogne rouge and worth a look.
Drink 2025
Lighter ruby with a pinkish edge. It has a delicious fragrance, lighter cherry, and some raspberry top notes. There is plenty of energy here, even though not massive, with a fine purity and then a slight tannin, which will resolve. Maybe the inclusion of 20-25% whole bunches just helps to liven it up.

About this wine
Bourgogne
In the Burgundy hierarchy, “Bourgogne” denotes the entry level of the classification system. This is a so-called “regional” appellation, theoretically covering the entire vineyard area of Burgundy. This is distinct from the more geographically precise village-level, Premier Cru and Grand Cru designations. The two most common Bourgogne-level wines are Bourgogne Blanc (“White Burgundy”) and Bourgogne Rouge (“Red Burgundy”).
