Description
This cuvée was created in homage to Vincent Leflaive, who built the great reputation of the family domaine. Uncle Vincent would be proud. The wine shows wonderful balance, precision and richness. Beautiful floral notes on the nose are followed by vibrant citrus on the palate. Fifteen percent new oak provides impressive roundness and lovely length.

Critics reviews
Ready to bottle. The fruit is taken only from the Puligny sector. Oncle Vincent is very pale in colour, with a gentle orchard fruit nose. Some grip on the plate, wood tannins adding to the structure, nicely balanced with power at the back. Still building on the palate.

About this wine
Bourgogne
In the Burgundy hierarchy, “Bourgogne” denotes the entry level of the classification system. This is a so-called “regional” appellation, theoretically covering the entire vineyard area of Burgundy. This is distinct from the more geographically precise village-level, Premier Cru and Grand Cru designations. The two most common Bourgogne-level wines are Bourgogne Blanc (“White Burgundy”) and Bourgogne Rouge (“Red Burgundy”).
