Description
The domaine’s oldest Vosne vines go into the Charmes de Mazières; the remaining 50-year-old vines go into this cuvée. There is so much power, concentration and structure for a village wine. It really over-delivers. There is a real depth of flavour, with some floral notes that make this wine so inviting even in its infancy.

Critics reviews
From Hautes-Maizières and Les Chalandins on the Flagey side.
A very Vosne-like nose is wonderfully spicy, composed of notes of dark raspberry, poached plum, and a whiff of exotic tea. I very much like the seductive and lush texture of the medium-weight flavours, which deliver sneaky good length on the youthfully austere finale.

40% new wood, December bottling.
It is far from the deepest in colour, but definitely not the least elegant either! Rose petals abound. A few fresh alpine strawberries, too. This has remarkable tension on the palate and is almost as nuanced as an Echezeaux at least as Jean-Pierre thinks!). Certainly, there is a gorgeous, almost glossy aftertaste. Highest pH.
