Description
This is a delicate wine of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. A blend of Stéphane’s Cairanne and Rasteau parcels, there is serious structure here. Energy and charm retain the delicacy of his other cuvées and this excels. Fresh red plums, dried herbs and supple texture are balanced by the classic freshness from the 2022 vintage.

Critics reviews
60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. A blend of parcels from Cairanne and Rasteau.
Simple, sweet and easy but surely there are other Côtes du Rhônes that are better value, such as Guigal's?
Drink 2024 - 2030
An aromatic, fresh and well-balanced white with plenty of stone fruits, honeysuckle and cooked lemons. Medium body with fresh acidity and plenty of fruity character all along. Juicy and flavorful finish.
Drink or hold
Mostly Grenache and Syrah, the 2022 Côtes Du Rhône Le Temps Est Venu is up-front and loaded with charm. It offers lots of black raspberry and redcurrant-like fruit as well as peppery garrigue and spice. It’s medium to full-bodied, round, layered, and beautifully balanced.
