Description
To bottle next week. Quite a full yellow colour. There is a fair amount of chardonnay rose now with new vines in production. Pleasingly rich on the palate without becoming unbalanced and still with a fresh enough finish. The ripe apple and pear fruit continues very agreeably afterwards on the palate.

This also has an interesting mix of grape varieties: 70% Chardonnay, 20% Chardonnay rosé, and 10% Pinot Blanc.
An overtly exotic nose displays notes of white and yellow peach, dried apricot and a whiff of lychee. There is good cut and punch to the delicious flavours that offer reasonable depth and persistence on the medium dry and mildly rustic finale. To enjoy young.

The 2021 Marsannay Cuvée St Urbain Blanc includes a plot from Chezeaux planted with Chardonnay and Chardonnay Rosé. It has quite a rich nose in the context of the vintage, with rosewater, white peach, and just a touch of passion fruit. The palate is well balanced with plenty of lychee and white peach notes and fine acidity. It is one of the most flamboyant and aromatic wines of the vintage, yet still finely crafted by Laurent Fournier.
