More peach and apricot fruit on the nose and palate. It has enough acidity to keep everything on track but lacks a bit of the focus expected. Certainly a very sunny example of Vaillons. It could well shed some 'puppy fat' after another year and merit a higher score.

Critics reviews
The 2021 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru undergoes 18 months of élevage. It has a creamy vanilla bouquet that doesn't really articulate Chablis, though it is not unattractive. The palate is a bit raw on the entry with sour lemon and a touch of white pepper, but it attenuates in the second half before a slightly undernourished finish.
