Description
The 2021 Pouilly-Fuissé Au Vignoret 1er Cru comes from a tiny 0.33 ha parcel at 340m altitude. It has a fragrant nose with yellow plum, jasmine, and light waxy scents. The palate is well balanced with a silver bead of acidity, good tension, lemon zest, and Golden Delicious notes. It gets a bit spicier toward the controlled finish. Given the vintage, it deserves a round of applause.

From Solutré-Pouilly
This is also firmly reduced and revealing little save for hints of wood and citrus. More interesting are the citrus-suffused medium-weight flavours that possess outstanding definition that carries over to the bone-dry, mineral-driven and beautifully long finish. This is also worth a look, again provided that you intend to allow it at least a few years of keeping.
