Critics reviews
Mid to full lemon colour. Quite a refined nose for Preuses, this has come together wonderfully well and seems almost accessible. Excellent purity, middleweight plus, an apple or two towards the back, long and refined.
Drink 2027 - 2035
An elegant, pure and airy nose is comprised by notes of zest, ocean breeze, quinine and white flowers. There is terrific underlying tension to the bigger-bodied yet even more refined flavors that brim with sappy dry extract on the highly complex and persistent bone-dry yet not really especially austere finale. This is built to reward extended keeping and I would recommend not touching a bottle for at least a decade. Terrific.
Drink from 2033 onward
The 2021 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is bright and aromatic, bursting with notes of white flowers, crisp orchard fruit, nutmeg, iodine, clear honey and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive, with a charming core of expressive fruit and a long, perfumed finish, this is already quite open out of the gates for a young Dauvissat Preuses in a cooler vintage.
