Description
Only 40% of a usual crop was produced this year. This epitomises why the wines from this appellation are becoming so interesting. It is a fine terroir, of course, and the extra dimension of lusciousness found in the best Pouilly-Fuissé is irresistible. The bouquet is full of succulent summer fruit like nectarine and peach. The palate is long, gently exotic and grounded with just the right level of minerality. It is a little more sculpted than the sensuous 2020.

Critics reviews
A monopole with a large percentage of vines that were planted in 1917.
A pretty nose combines notes of acacia blossom, lemon confit, spice, petrol, and a hint of orange peel. The rich, concentrated, and powerful larger-bodied flavours are outstandingly intense and deliver superb length on the balanced, complex, and markedly dry but not really austere finale. This is terrific and well worth checking out.
Drink from 2029 onward.
