Less herbal than the previous vintage, the 2020 Sauvignon Blanc offers tropical fruit aromas with elements of pineapple, guava, kiwi fruit and yellow apple and a subtle hint of sage and celery. Medium-bodied, the palate is open and accessible with an early-maturing expression that offers a hint of spice and bruised apple before concluding with a brisk, uncomplicated and nutty finish.

About this wine
Constantia
The historically important if tiny wine district of Constantia lies in Cape Town’s southern wards, and on the most southerly point of Africa, the Cape of Good Hope. It is most famous for its ancient dessert wine Vin de Constance, as produced by Klein Constantia estate. The cooling, south-easterly sea breezes make Constantia a natural site for Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon as well as Muscat.
