Description
What can be thought of as the entry-level Cuvée from Teyssier, the 2018 Château Teyssier is a sleeper in the vintage, offering a great perfume of blueberries, wildflowers, candied orange, and Asian spices, with a touch of chalky minerality on the finish. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and beautifully textured on the palate, it's a gorgeous, already impossible-to-resist Saint-Emilion to enjoy over the coming decade. It's the finest vintage I've tasted for this release.

Critics reviews
The 2018 Château Teyssier Famille Durand-Teyssier) 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc) just about jumps from the glass with its mulberry and cassis fruits as well as floral, cedary spice, and incense-like nuances. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and nicely balanced, it has sweet yet present tannins, a fruit-forward vibe, and outstanding length. It's well worth buying and should evolve for 8-10 years, if not longer.

So much fresh mushroom and bark with blue and black fruit in the nose. It’s full-bodied, turning tight and lightly chewy on the mid-palate. Long and racy.
